Dr. Jennifer Gray joined the Marymount faculty in 2011. Prior to coming to Marymount, she taught both undergraduate and graduate courses at the University of Maryland, worked as a first and second grade classroom teacher, served as a K-3 reading specialist with the Chicago Public Schools, was an ESL instructor for both children and adults, served as an adult literacy program coordinator, and worked as a literacy specialist with the Massachusetts Department of Education.

Dr. Gray loves teaching students at all stages of their educational careers, and is passionate about preparing future teachers for their work in diverse classrooms and communities. Dr. Gray teaches both undergraduate and graduate reading methods courses in the Department of Education, and also serves as an academic advisor for undergraduate students.
