Getting Involved

There are several ways that parents and family members can become involved in Marymount.

Parents and family members are encouraged to attend New Student Orientation, held in June and August for new students beginning in the fall, and in January for new students starting in the spring. There is a separate, concurrent family program which covers issues like academic expectations, health and safety, and Marymount resources. Information on the Family Program can be found on the Orientation page.

Parents and family members are also invited to attend Family Weekend, held annually in October. We coordinate a wide variety of different events for family members to attend, including meals, athletic events, parties, and comedians. In addition to Family Weekend, parents and family members are also welcome to attend events held during the rest of the year on campus - both athletic events and other activities.
