The Office of University Communications is responsible for the public face of Marymount's online presence:
www.marymount.edu. (Other Web-based resources – myMarymount portal, Marynet, and muweb – fall under the auspices of Information Technology Services.)
The Office of University Communications provides the following Web services:
Copy updates: Small updates can be made quickly, while larger updates will sometimes require both an electronic and hard copy of your Web pages with changes marked. Please specify in your correspondence to the webmaster how extensive your changes are and provide the exact web address. You will then be contacted if more information or further clarifications are required.
Page creation: Contact the
Web manager in University Communications to inquire about adding new sections to your pages.
Public Relations: Requests to put news articles, special information, and photo galleries on the MU website can be e-mailed to the
Web manager, but will ultimately be reviewed by Laurie Callahan, director of Public Relations. Please provide as much information as possible when contacting the webmaster initially.
Assistance with Web-based projects: A meeting will begin this process. Please attempt to set up a meeting as far in advance of your due date as possible. Providing adequate lead time, which varies by project, will assure meeting your schedule needs.
