Women’s Soccer Falls at Southern Virginia
Buena Vista, Va. – Marymount University’s women’s soccer team fell 3-1 on the road at Capital Athletic Conference newcomer Southern Virginia on Tuesday evening. The Saints drop to 5-9 overall on the season.
Despite being one of the three new members of the CAC, Southern Virginia does not count in the league standings because it is in the final year of the NCAA reclassification process.
Chloe McAullife scored the lone goal for the Saints in the 65th minute, penetrating through the middle of the box and finding the back of the net in the right corner.
In goal, April Westmark collected one save between the pipes.
Marymount returns to action on Saturday as it travels to Salisbury in CAC play.
