Women’s Basketball Falls at Randolph-Macon
Ashland, Va. – Marymount University’s women’s basketball team dropped a 92-73 decision on the road at Randolph-Macon in non-conference action on Thursday night. The Saints fall to 1-2 overall on the season.
Katelyn Fischer led the Saints with her first double-double of the season, scoring a team-high 21 points to go with 12 assists. She added five rebounds and a pair of steals in the loss.
Kievanna Lacey added 15 points and seven rebounds off the bench for the Blue and White while Aileen Maknati chipped in 11 points.
Samantha Kane scored nine points and added eight rebounds in her season debut while Lacey and Felicia Adomako both hauled in seven boards.
Three RMC (4-0) players scored at least 20 points with Taylor Huber and Katie Anderson scoring 25 each and Sarah Parsons adding 22.
Marymount returns to action on Monday as it travels to face Capital Athletic Conference newcomer Southern Virginia in Buena Vista, Va.
