Men’s Soccer Falls to Shenandoah

Virginia Beach, Va. – Marymount University’s men’s soccer team closed out the Virginia Wesleyan Invitational with a 3-0 loss to Shenandoah on Saturday. The Saints fall to 0-2-2 on the season.

Outshooting the Hornets 23-10, the Saints couldn’t convert on multiple chances in the game.

Shenandoah’s goalkeeper James Dutcher hauled in 12 saves, including eight in the opening frame.

For the Saints, keeper Mike Madigan collected four saves in the loss.

John Peterman scored the first pair of goals for SU while Eduardo Santiago logged the final score.

Marymount returns to action on Wednesday as it travels to face Penn State-Brandywine in non-conference action.
