Women’s Volleyball Picks up Another CAC Victory
Dover, Del. – Marymount University’s women’s volleyball team remained undefeated in Capital Athletic Conference play with a 3-0 (25-18, 25-19, 25-17) victory over Wesley on Tuesday night. The Saints improve to 14-4 overall on the season and 2-0 in league play.
Erin Allison led the Saints with a double-double, posting 11 kills to go with 13 digs. She hit at an impressive .400 clip on the night after committing just one attack error on 25 attempts while also recording four service aces.
Jenn Forbes chipped in seven kills while Johanna Hummel added six.
All three Marymount setters saw action in the game. Brianne Fitzpatrick logged 12 assists to go with five digs, Melissa Warren had 11 assists and a pair of service aces while Kayla Stinson chipped in seven assists and three digs.
Defensively, Michelle McCormick posted 11 digs while Cassidie Watson had 10. Both Forbes and Morgan McAlpin collected three blocks at the net.
Marymount returns to action on Wednesday as it travels to face McDaniel in Westminster, Md.
