Men’s Basketball Falls in CAC Road Action
York, Pa. – Marymount University’s men’s basketball team fell 78-62 at defending Capital Athletic Conference tournament champions York (Pa.) on Saturday afternoon. The Saints drop to 4-11 overall and 0-4 in league play.
Tim Brisco led the Saints with a career-high 22 points off the bench to lead all scorers while Reed Scott added 12 points. Scott and Rick Narcisse both grabbed five rebounds in the loss.
The Saints couldn’t overcome their halftime deficit despite outscoring the Spartans 41-27 in the second half. Marymount nearly doubling its offensive output from the opening frame.
Mitch Kemp led York (6-9, 2-2 CAC) with 20 points.
