Men’s Lacrosse Falls at CAC Rival UMW in Season Finale
Fredericksburg, Va. – Marymount University’s men’s lacrosse team dropped its 2013 season finale win a 19-4 loss to Capital Athletic Conference rival Mary Washington on Saturday afternoon. The Saints close out the season 7-7 overall and 0-6 in league play.
Connor Kellogg led the Saints with a pair of goals while Garrett Nealon and Ian Gordon each added another. Michael Bitonti logged an assist for the Blue and White.
Sam Dupont paced the Saints with five ground balls.
In goal, Derek DiGiovanni collected nine saves while Zachary Boyd added three in relief.
John Bohlinger, Sean Dacey and Luke Dick each had three goals for Mary Washington (8-6, 2-4 CAC).
Marymount wraps up the season 7-7 overall, finishing the year with the most wins and a .500 record for the first time since 2001.
