New Information Literacy Room in Reinsch Library

Monday, October 01, 2012
The new Information Literacy Room in the Reinsch Library provides students with a state-of-the-art space for library instruction, quiet study, and research. Located next to the Overdue Brew coffee bar, it includes 20 MAC computers, a smart board, video cam, projector, white boards, and a podium with master controls.

The room was made possible by a generous gift from the late Dr. Peter J. Gomatos and is dedicated in memory of his parents, John T. and Agnes J. Gomatos. Dr. Gomatos also made possible The John T. and Agnes J. Gomatos Reading Room, which is on the second floor of the Reinsch Library and houses a collection of old and rare books. It features stained-glass windows representing the four seasons.
