Professor's HR Project Wins National Award

Dr. Kenneth Yusko, associate professor of Management and Human Resources, and three colleagues from Baruch College in New York and the University of Maryland have won the M. Scott Myers Award for Applied Research in the Workplace for their project, “Development and Implementation of the Siena Reasoning Test.” The preemployment test that they created is the first of its kind that accurately measures candidates’ capacity to reason while promoting diversity. The award was presented by the Society of Industrial Organizational Psychology at its annual meeting in Chicago this April.
