Men’s Soccer Falls at Hood
Frederick, Md. – Marymount University’s men’s soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision on the road at Hood in Capital Athletic Conference action on Saturday.
The Saints (2-6-1, 0-2-1 CAC) outshot the Blazers 18-11 but couldn’t find a way to get past the HC keeper, William Lane, who snagged 12 saves.
Hood (3-5-0, 1-2-0 CAC) got on the board early in the 20th minute and held of the Saints’ barrage for its first win over Marymount in program history.
Kjell Crooke and Philippe Millogo both tallied five shots for MU while Carlos Salinas, Cherif Moktefi and Onar Yousefi each added a pair.
William Brahmstedt earned four saves for the Saints, including three in the first half.
Marymount returns to action on Wednesday, September 29, at home against Wesley in CAC play.
