Offense Comes Alive in Women’s Soccer Victory
Silver Spring, Md. – Marymount University’s women’s soccer team posted its highest scoring total of the season with a 7-0 victory over Washington Adventist on Tuesday afternoon. The Saints improve to 3-5 on the season.
Amy Lawton led the Saints with three goals for a hat-trick while Lexi Swartz and Chloe McAullife both added a pair. Kirsten Campbell notched two assists while McAullife, Eva DeLeon and Erin Harris all chipped in another.
Marymount outshot the Shock 36-6 on the day en route to its third shutout of the season.
April Westmark collected four saves in goal while picking up the win.
Marymount returns to action on Friday as it travels to face Capital Athletic Conference foe Wesley in Dover, Del.
