Dr. Patrick Mullins, assistant professor of History, shared his take on the French and Indian War with his students and the nation when C-SPAN broadcast his lecture on the subject as part of its new Lectures in History series. Dr. Mullins pointed out that the French and Indian War depleted Britain’s coffers, leading to increased taxation of colonists and, ultimately, the Revolutionary War. The lecture aired on December 11 and will be repeated in the future.
