Chelsea Gates Tabbed All-Tournament at F&M Scramble
Lancaster, Pa. – Marymount University volleyball player Chelsea Gates was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Franklin & Marshall Scramble over the weekend. The senior libero averaged an impressive 6.80 digs per set in three matches.
Gates opened the tournament with 30 digs in a four set loss to Susquehanna. She added a pair of service aces against the Crusaders.
Playing two matches the next day, Gates collected 21 digs against F&M before pulling in 25 against Lebanon Valley.
Joining Gates on the All-Tournament Team were F&M’s Sydney Seydel and Pam Horner, Susquehanna’s Emily Carson and Lindsey Jankiweicz and LVC’s Joelle Snyder. Horner was selected as the MVP.
