Frederick, Md. – Marymount University’s women’s soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to Hood in Capital Athletic Conference action on Friday. The Saints fall to 4-7 overall and 0-4 in the league play.
Hood put the lone goal on the board in the 15th minute on a free kick. The Blazers would manage just five shots in the game but only needed the one.
Conversely, the Saints launched a barrage of 26 shots at their hosts including 17 in the second half. Hannah Boswell and Katie Hamelin both tallied six shots while Julie Fioramonti added four.
In goal, Gaby Prellezo collected a pair of saves in the loss.
Marymount returns to action on Wednesday at home against Frostburg State in the CAC competition.
