In February, Sandy Logan ’11, who just completed the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) program, was featured in a
segment of AARP’s Inside E Street program, which airs on PBS stations across the country. The story focuses on encore, or bridge, careers that take older students back to college in order to pursue a new line of work before retirement.
For Sandy Logan, that new career is nursing. She returned to Marymount for a B.S.N. after earning a master’s in Counseling from the University in 1999. She was also MU's first Presidential Management Scholar. Nursing is actually Sandy’s third career path. She had a naval career before coming to Marymount the first time!
