Men’s Soccer Falls to Randolph

Fredericksburg, Va. – Marymount University’s men’s soccer team dropped a tough 5-1 decision to Randolph, closing out the opening weekend at the UMW Invitational on Saturday. The Saints fall to 0-2 on the season.

Bryce Stouffer scored the lone goal for the Saints in the 73rd minute with an assist from Berhane Eticha.

In goal, Kurt Michaels (0-2) and Logan Cropper split time with Cropper hauling in a team-high six saves.

Corey Sindle led the Wildcats (2-0) with three goals for a hat-trick.

Marymount returns to action next weekend at the Lynchburg Invitational. The Saints take on Roanoke on Saturday before battling the host Hornets on Sunday.
