Saints Cross Country Shines at Marymount 5K
Arlington, Va. – Marymount University’s men’s and women’s cross country runners put together impressive performances at the Marymount 5K on Saturday morning. The mixed 5K run was put together in conjunction with MU’s alumni weekend.
Freshman Jessie Daley continued to post winning numbers, running the course in 20:17 and earning top finisher status on the women’s side. Fellow Saint Meryem Noucair placed 23rd with a time of 23:53.
On the men’s side, Mike Dalrymple finished second overall with a time of 18:37. He was one of just two runners to break the 20 minute mark.
Other notables included MU assistant coach Mudasar Haidat posting a race best 16:17. Julialyn Deos was the top female alumni finisher with a time of 21:38 and Theo Mestrini was the top male alumni finisher at 22:18.
Marymount returns to team competition on Saturday, October 9, at the Goucher College Invitational.
