Men’s Soccer Falls at Southern Virginia

Wednesday, October 23, 2013
Buena Vista, Va. – Marymount University’s men’s soccer team fell 1-0 on the road at Capital Athletic Conference newcomer Southern Virginia on Wednesday afternoon. The Saints drop to 4-13 overall on the season.

Despite being one of the three new members of the CAC, Southern Virginia does not count in the league standings because it is in the final year of the NCAA reclassification process.

Marymount outshot the Knights 16-7 but couldn't find the back of the net. Onar Yousefi notched six shots with Berhane Eticha, Bryce Stouffer and Jorge Alvarado adding a pair each.

In goal, Logan Cropper hauled in four saves between the pipes in the loss.

Marymount returns to action on Friday night as it travels to face CAC foe Wesley in Dover, Del.
