Salisbury, Md. – Marymount University’s men’s basketball team dropped a 55-42 decision at Salisbury in Capital Athletic Conference action on Wednesday night. The Saints split their season series with the Sea Gulls.
Jesse Konadu led the Saints (5-15, 1-10 CAC) with a game-high 15 points. Reed Scott added eight points and 10 rebounds
Marymount took early control and was up for the first seven minutes of the game, leading by as many as five. Salisbury would battle back, eventually taking a 23-16 lead going into the locker room at the break.
The Saints kept things close in the second frame including pulling within five with just six minutes to go. Salisbury would hold off the comeback, sealing the win on the offensive boards and at the free throw line.
Chris Viqueria led the Sea Gulls (11-9, 4-7 CAC) with nine points.
