Harrisburg, Pa. – Marymount University’s men’s golf team closed out the 2011-12 season with an 11th place finish at the Messiah College Falcon Classic on Monday. The Saints shot a team score of 346 to tie with Lebanon Valley and York Tech to tie for 11th out of 18 teams.
Peter Johns and Nick Ryerson led the Saints with matching rounds of 85 to tie for 43rd place. Brad Johnson was right behind them with an 87 to tie for 54th and Mark Curtis carded an 89 to tie for 68th. Round out the Saints participation, Isaac Reed shot a 92 to place 75th.
Marymount wraps up the year with one of the best campaigns in program history. The Saints posted four top-five finishes including winning the Gettysburg Fall Invitational, posted three top-10 individual rounds, carded four top-10 team rounds and garnered two All-Capital Athletic Conference players for the first time in program history.
