Cross Country Competes at York Invitational

York, Pa. – Marymount University’s men’s and women’s cross country teams competed ate the Richard Achtzehn Invitational, hosted by York (Pa.) on Saturday. The Saints finished in seventh place on the women’s side and eight with the men’s team.

Megan McMinn was the top finished for the women’s squad in the 6K, placing 44th with a time of 28:15.62. Newcomer Jessica Butler was 63th at 30:58.18 while Summer Penrose finished 73rd at 32:34.11. Rounding out the Saints’ scoring, Alondra Hall placed 82nd at 35:06.93 while Rachael Raske was 85th at 38:16.94.

On the men’s side, Tam Nguyen was the Saints top finisher in the 8K course with a time of 30:55.98 to finish 44th. Mark Flores placed 59th at 32:46.89, Alexi McHugh was 69th at 33:56.88, Udit Bhatnagar was 72nd with a time of 34:42.26 and Kevin Farmer rounded out the scoring in 74th at 34:55.66.
