Starting with this very first session, the Center for Global Education will be hosting a series of monthly info sessions for MU faculty and staff throughout the 2014-2015 Academic Year. The purpose of these sessions, is to better educate Marymount faculty and staff on some key areas of global education that are relevant to their relationship with the Center for Global Education and the students we serve. **Please be sure to bring your own lunch! No RSVP required.**
Workshop #1: Advising Students for Study Abroad
This inaugural info sessions is geared primarily towards academic advisors
who work with students in approving the timing of and course selection for their global education experience. During this session, we will be clarifying the student application and course selection process for studying abroad; demonstrating new online advising resources; and providing advisors with timelines, tips, and forms so that they can support their students more effectively.
