Location: Marymount's Reston Center, 1861 Wiehle Ave., Reston VA
Join Faculty and staff at our Reston Center for an information session covering our exciting Graduate Education programs!
The Reston Education Graduate Cohort is for students seeking an Elementary, Secondary, or Professional Studies Master of Education degree. Students join the program as a group and take classes at a set schedule for 6 semesters. The cohort system allows students to grow together and use each other as resources as they bring their working experiences to the classroom. Classes meet on the weekends, with students completing field work during the week in area schools. Come visit with staff and faculty on February 11th and learn about this exciting opportunity for anyone seeking to further his or her career in teaching.
Marymount's Professional Development School Program (PDS) is an accelerated option leading to a Master of Education. The program is a collaborative partnership between Marymount University and local public school systems. Students work at a PDS-affiliated school full time during the academic year while taking Marymount graduate classes at the same time. Students can finish their M.Ed. in one year.
