Tue, Apr 09, 2013, 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
LOCATION: Reinsch Library Auditorium, Main Campus

The featured speaker at the second annual Liz Myhill Memorial Seminar will be Dr. Lori Glaze, associate chief of the Planetary Geodynamics Laboratory at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. Her presentation is entitled Venus and Earth: Divergent Paths in Planetary Evolution.

A reception follows the presentation.
This seminar series is named for Dr. Elizabeth Myhill, an assistant professor of science, who passed away in May 2010. She had taught at Marymount since 1993 and became a full-time faculty member in 2004. Well-loved by students and colleagues alike, Dr. Myhill taught courses in math, physics, astronomy, and geology. Students named her the recipient of the 2007 Robert A. Draghi Outstanding Faculty Award.
