Walk to help end homelessness in Arlington on Monday, November 5 (rescheduled from October 29). Walk with fellow Marymount students, faculty, or staff between 12:30 and 1:30 p.m. Or walk on your own time around your neighborhood or on a treadmill. There is no distance or time requirement.
If we get 250 people to sign up for this wellness walk, the Shooshan Company will donate $5,000 to A-SPAN. A-SPAN is an Arlington nonprofit that feed, clothes, shelters, and houses homeless people in Arlington.
Anyone can sign up, and there’s no registration fee!
Sign-up forms can be found in the Dining Hall, the Malek School of Health Professions, Rowley Hall’s student information desk, Human Resources in Ireton Hall, the Ballston Center lobby desk, and the Reston Center.
Be one of the 250 walkers we need to make this a success. Make it a Healthy Monday – for yourself and the Arlington community!
