During the summer, all new first-year students are invited to campus to attend one two-day orientation session. It is mandatory that students attend one* of these sessions; please plan vacations accordingly. No matter which session you attend, you will meet other first-year students, participate in academic advising, and confirm your fall schedule. You will learn more about campus resources and experience campus life with an overnight stay in the residence halls. Plan to stay on campus overnight regardless of whether you will be a resident or commuter student in the fall.
