One Size Does Not Fit All: The Changing Face of Leadership

LOCATION: Main Campus – Reinsch Library Auditorium, Gailhac Hall Classrooms, Gerard Dining Hall

In collaboration with the Virginia Association of School Personnel Administrators (VASPA), Marymount is hosting this one-day leadership conference.

The keynote speaker will be Rich Schlentz, the founder of EXTRAordinary! Inc. He is a workplace consultant, engagement expert, and inspiring speaker. As chief enthusiasm officer of EXTRAordinary! Inc., he says that he is “dedicated to reviving the global workplace, one culture at a time.” The conference will also include three break-out sessions with workshop options, as well as a continental breakfast and lunch.

Current and aspiring student leaders are encouraged to attend. The conference is free for Marymount students, faculty, and staff.

For visitors, the registration fee is $15 per student or advisor. For every five students that register from another institution, one advisor is invited to attend free of charge.

Dress is casual, and students do not need to bring any materials.

8:45-9:15 – Check-in and registration in the Reinsch Library Auditorium
9:15-12:15 – Three break-out sessions in Gailhac Hall
12:30-1:30 – Lunch in Gerard Dining Hall
1:45-2:45 – Keynote Speaker Rich Schlentz, founder of EXTRAordinary! Inc., in the Reinsch Library Auditorium
2:45-3:00 – Closing ceremony in the Reinsch Library Auditorium
