The Open House features the research and creative work of 120 Marymount students in eight courses across the curriculum. Fashion Design students sketched prom dresses inspired by Juliet. Education majors have crafted lesson plans on teaching Shakespeare using popular music. And, one of the theatre history students even built a Globe Theatre replica. Tickets to see Romeo and Juliet: MU students - $5; others - $10
Advance ticket purchase is recommended to ensure seating. Tickets are available for purchase in the office of student services in the Lodge. They can also be reserved by emailing Shakespeare@marymount.edu
and then paying at the door.
There will be a second performance of Romeo and Juliet on Friday, February 15, at 8 p.m., with the Open House at 7 p.m.
