Reception Location: SoBe Bar & Grille, 3100 Clarendon Blvd, Arlington, VA (Next to Mister Days)
Tournament Location: Marymount's Verizon Sports Arena, Main Campus

Marymount Men's and Women's Basketball will be hosting the Pablo Coto Tip-Off Tournament November 15-17 to start the 2013-14 season. A special reception will be held on November 14 with Marymount president Dr. Matthew Shank, and basketball coaches Ashlee Courter '03 and Chris Rogers, to kick off the tournament.

All proceeds from the reception and tournament will benefit the Pablo Coto Scholarship. The namesake of the scholarship and tournament, Pablo Coto was a student leader and men's basketball player in the Class of 1993 who passed away unexpectedly during his senior year due to a rare and undiagnosed heart condition. His classmates and family members raised money to begin the scholarship in his honor, which is awarded annually to a senior who exemplifies academic excellence, financial need, leadership, loyalty to family and friends, and spiritual commitment, all qualities that Pablo possessed.

Tickets to the reception and tournament can be purchased online or by calling the Office of Alumni Relations at 703-284-1541.
