A total of no more than one year’s accrual may be accumulated. Full-time staff members appointed for fewer than 12 months (9 or 10) accrue leave on a pro-rated basis. Annual leave does not continue to accrue while the employee is on official Family and Medical Leave or is on approved leave-without-pay.
