Center for Teaching Excellence

The Center for Teaching Excellence supports creative and effective teaching that facilitates successful student learning. The Center strives to nurture a community of teaching scholars at Marymount by providing services to faculty that help them enhance their teaching, facilitating the scholarship of teaching and learning, recognizing and celebrating the accomplishments of Marymount teaching scholars, communicating the importance of teaching and learning to both internal and external audiences, and serving as a catalyst for learning-centered education.

Dr. Michael Walls brings an extensive and intense nursing background with over 20 years of experience in med-surg, nursing education, trauma resuscitation, critical care, and emergency nursing including experience in one of the largest and busiest urban trauma centers in the world.
