Kick-off Homecoming and Reunion weekend by wearing blue and white around campus, out of town, and locally around town! Snap a picture of yourself sporting blue and white colors and post to our Alumni Facebook page, Alumni Instagram page, and Alumni Twitter page with hashtag: #MarymountHC.

"The Milk of Birds": Reading, Talk, and Book Signing by MU writing specialist Sylvia Whitman
5:00 p.m.; Barry Gallery, Reinsch Library
Complimentary to attend

Whitman’s 2013 novel The Milk of Birds was a finalist for the prestigious Walden award for young adult fiction. It tells the story of two teenage girls, one from the United States and one Sudanese, who forge a unique friendship through their letters to each other. Copies of the book will be available to purchase during the reception following the reading and talk. RSVP to Marguerite Rippy at mrippy@marymount.edu.

International Beer Tasting for Study Abroad Alumni
hosted by the Center for Global Education

Free Admission. Pre-registration is required; study abroad alumni and their guests are welcome. A $5 suggested donation towards the MU Global Education Scholarship will be welcomed at the door.

Welcome back, Study Abroad Alumni! Bring your family and friends and join the Center for Global Education for an international beer tasting on the Rowley Patio. We'll have a wide variety of beers from all over the world for you to taste as you reminisce with your globally engaged alums. Current MU students who have recently returned from study abroad will also be present. A heavy finger food reception to celebrate the Class of 1964’s 50th Reunion. In addition, all reunion classes ending in a 4 or a 9 are welcome!
