Program Options & Requirements

Choose your program of interest to learn about degree requirements:
  • The traditional four-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing is ideal for entering freshmen and students with general education transfer credits in non-Nursing fields. Entering freshmen and transfer students who do not have a bachelor’s degree are eligible for the baccalaureate program. Freshmen typically complete the program in four academic years. Transfer student completion will vary depending upon the number of credits transferred and the semester the student is admitted to Marymount. The minimum completion time is two and a half to three academic years. Upon completion of senior requirements and graduation from the University, students are eligible to take the state board examination (NCLEX-RN) to become licensed as registered nurses.
  • The hybrid online R.N.-to-B.S.N. program is designed for the registered nurse who seeks career advancement by earning the Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The program requires completion of 36-80 credits, depending upon previous college coursework. Students must have a valid R.N. license. Its hybrid online format is ideal for working adults.
