Graphic Design

Marymount’s B.A. in Graphic Design provides hands-on opportunities for success. See for yourself the work of Marymount’s Graphic Design students and alumni.

MU’s proximity to our nation’s capital affords an abundance of opportunities for Graphic Design majors to apply their skills and knowledge to assist government, corporate, and community agencies in the greater Washington area.

Marymount’s Graphic Design program will prepare you for positions with design firms, advertising agencies, publishers, nonprofit organizations, corporate and retail design departments, and government agencies. The curriculum combines design thinking with technical expertise in print and publication design, Web design, interactive media, and video production.

You will have the opportunity to choose an emphasis in Visual Communication or Web Design. You may also choose a minor in such disciplines as art, business, communication, illustration, information technology, public history, or another area of interest.
