The SVEA is a professional pre-service teacher organization, dedicated to providing college students with opportunities to explore the teaching profession.
Kappa Delta Pi
KDP is an international honor society in Education dedicated to those demonstrating high academic achievement, a commitment to education as a career, and a professional attitude that assures steady growth in the field.
Membership is open to undergraduate students who have completed, or are enrolled in, 12 hours of Education courses; have been accepted into the teacher-education program; and have a minimum overall 3.0 GPA. Graduate students must have completed 12 hours in Education coursework, be fully accepted into the teacher-education program, and have a minimum 3.5 graduate GPA.
